Jagiellonian University has signed an agreement giving Jagiellonian University employees, doctoral students and faculty access to the Legalis database of Polish and European law published by C.H. Beck.

Technical requirements:

  • installed web browser version of at least: Chrome 49, Firefox 52, Internet Explorer 9, Edge, Opera 36, Safari for macOS,
  • a program that can read PDF files (e.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader, downloadable from adobe.com).

Below, instructions for accessing the Legalis database are available.

How to access...

Computers connected to the Internet via the Jagiellonian University computer network

To access the Legalis Legal Information System, open a web browser and open https://sip.legalis.pl. Once the page is open, it is possible to use the Legalis Legal Information System and no login is required.
 

Computers connected to the Internet outside the Jagiellonian University computer network

Jagiellonian University employees and students can also access on private computers by logging on to http://hps.bj.uj.edu.pl/han/legalis.
