IT Services Department

    The key tasks of the IT Services Department include managing projects and undertaking tasks aimed at supporting the administrative staff of the Jagiellonian University in all activities concerning broadly understood computers and IT services.

The tasks of the Department include:

  • IT maintenance of the IT infrastructure in the UJ general administration units and support of users in its use;
  • supporting users in the University-wide administration of the UJ in the use of the ePUAP system and administering the permissions of UJ service accounts in the ePUAP system,;
  • management of university-wide software licenses, distribution of media, and management of electronic signatures,
  • management of UJ's central wireless network;
  • coordinating the purchase of software and hardware for UJ-wide administration units;
  • management of UJ's central wireless network;
  • operation of the electronic voting system - ensuring the proper functioning of the equipment, providing elements of the system to UJ organizational units, training people employed in other UJ organizational units in the operation and administration of the system.
