Jagiellonian University has purchased a collective, perpetual license for Altap's Salamander software.

The Salamander program from the Czech company Altap is a small and fast two-panel file manager offering the possibility to extend its functionality with plug-ins, which can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website. It has built-in text and multimedia file viewers, support for various archive formats. The program is available for 32- and 64-bit Microsoft Windows systems.

The purchased license entitles the user to install this software on an unlimited number of computers owned by the Jagiellonian University and home computers of employees, doctoral students and UJ students.
